MCPP Portfolio Project Submission: MCBS Course - Project Management - Project Proposal: IndieCon

Star Rating Sought: 1 Star Approval Rating

Project Description:
For this project I was given the task of creating a local event (in Seattle). In creating this event I was in charge of making the events goals/objectives, risk analysis, timeline, budget, key personnel/staff, financial resources, and marketing plan for a pitch to get this event started. I chose to create a local event based around the gaming community, providing an event where local independent (or indie) developers to showcase their games and become recognized by larger companies, which gaining exposure and building/growing their fan base.

Feedback Received:
My course instructor told me to adjust my cover page to be more aligned. She also asked me to incorporate “Days to Complete” in my Timeline section. I was asked to add “pins” and their cost to my Budget plan and adjust the cost of “Print Advertisement/ads/flyers” in my Budget plan as well. My final grade was 100% after making these changes.

Resources Utilized:

For this project I needed access to Microsoft Office software. Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word were what I used. This project was an individual project so no team members contributed.
